Dear Victoria, if you ever read these lines, here is what I want you to know — from the bottom of my still-a-teenager heart.
You’ve always been my favourite. Posh spice for the win. David who? I don’t care about him, you’re the star in that pair. The lesson: Be your own vibrant and visible self — you’re not a sidekick.
I love hearing you talk. Soft, subtle, elegant. And — oh my! — your accent! The lesson: The way you present yourself and communicate give others a first impression, make sure you nail it.
I’m still amazed at how you nailed that Ali G interview — 23 years ago. If anyone still believes you’re no fun, they’d rather watch it now! The lesson: A good sense of humour goes a long way.
You could have been only a WAG, you build a fashion brand instead. The lesson: Use money as a means, not an end.
You’ve brought four children into this world….four!!! That’s exceptional nowadays. The lesson: You can have it all.
But you remind us it comes with a price: “I have a lot on my plate. I’m not going to lie about it, I’m tired. I’m really tired but I’m also very happy with my life.”
And it works only if you set your priorities straight: “I love what I do professionally, I’m really blessed. But my priority is my husband and my children.”
I love that you love baked salmon and veggies — it’s one of my favourite too! — Not every day though… But that’s a beautiful example of discipline. The lesson: Stick to habits that make you feel and perform at your best.
A broken foot? That won’t even stop you from jumping over obstacles and kicking ass! The lesson: Where there’s a will there’s a way.
